Welcome to The Arts Society Gravesend
The Arts Society Gravesend was formed so that people who enjoy learning about all aspects of the arts could get together and hear high quality lectures given by experts in their chosen field. Today, thirty two years on from that first meeting, we still aspire to inform and inspire our members with talks on subjects as diverse as the fine arts, sculpture, photography, architecture, jewellery, ceramics, glassware, textiles - the list is endless!
During the year we also arrange visits to places of interest, events and occasional tours of the UK and abroad.
Our members not only attend for the lectures though - they enjoy the friendly and lively atmosphere and we pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome to newcomers.
